Moving the Earth in our Gym!

My students need a replacement Omnikin ball bladder and an additional Omnikin ball.

My Students

Every day in our gym is a new adventure! My students love to move, get active and try new things. We are a Title 1 school with approximately 80% fee waiver students. While my students are exposed to lots of new things (one of my missions in life), they often only receive new experiences in the school environment.

My students also love a little bit of competition!

This being said not all students are successful at typical "old school" types of movement. This becomes a challenge when trying to keep everyone engaged and enjoying the different types of movement activities I challenge them with.

My Project

This year we are focusing on not only individual skills (i.e., speed, direction and force using balls) but incorporating fun, team building activities to increase our sportsmanship in PE as well.

Currently we have one Omnikin ball but it's bladder has an unrepairable hole!

We need a new bladder to replace the one we have and then another ball to play team building activities. By using the Omnikin balls, my students will be able to practice their team cooperation skills and sportsmanship in a fun way that is different and unique from other opportunities or opportunities they may encounter outside of the school environment.
