My students need yoga balls, privacy boards, and other materials to overcome their inability to focus. These materials will allow all of my students to keep their bodies busy without disturbing others and allow them to focus on the tasks.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special, they live in the south Bronx is the poorest neighborhood, yet they walk in with heads high in uniforms ready to start the day. Here at mt school we try and allow are students to feel right at home. This year I have many students who have a tough time with maintaining independent focus. I would like to create an environment which can focus them and create independence. By creating a safe productive work environment for every student.
My Project
This project is to allow all of my students to move their bodies as well as their minds. By allowing my students the ability to freely move their body without sound (tennis balls on chairs and desks), they will be able to focus move on the task at hand. Some students need to move their legs (kick bands), others their desks (personal dividers), some their hands (stress balls). With this project all of my students will be able to quiet their bodies and open their minds to all kinds of new knowledge that is all around them, which hopefully pushes them to gain mastery of the 3rd grade. All students are masters of their learning, lets get them to be masters of their minds and bodies.
