Help me give my students instructional games and materials such as a memory game, task cards in a box, and reading comprehension cards to have the best year in fourth grade.
My year started with the loss of my mother in August, and I was moved to third grade upon returning in October. I was not prepared nor had time to adequately set up my classroom, purchase materials, or needed supplies. My students were lacking in comparison to their peers and their classrooms. My students need similar opportunities and resources as their peers. We needed engaging math and reading centers desperately. My students deserve grade-level content and supplies to match. All students need equal opportunities but if not opportunities for equitable materials.
Manipulatives such as games, center activities, and anchor charts help students learn by allowing them to move from concrete experiences to abstract reasoning.
My students need hands-on materials to process what they are learning.
For the 2023-2024 school year, I would love to start my students off with the materials and supplies needed. They need this because despite not having any grade-level material they worked really hard.
I have always given my students the best possible learning environment needed to ensure they are successful. Please help me give my scholars equitable learning environment as their peers.
