My students attend a school district in a small town in East Texas. They all share a love and passion for learning! Our district strives hard to provide our students with as many learning opportunities as it can, but with over half of my students coming from a low socioeconomic background, the resources can be limited at times.
My students enjoy and appreciate any and all learning opportunities they are given!
My students come to me every day ready to learn, and I strive to motivate them in as many positive ways as I can!
My Project
I have a classroom full of kindergarten students that I get to promote to first grade! The best part is that I get to go with them. So we will be leaving our Kindergarten supplies and storage behind. This leaves us in great need of several storage items.
We will need a place to store our book bins and math manipulatives.
This can also make it possible to store any materials for learners at home.
These storage items will be the perfect addition to our new classroom to help me continue to help these students grow, mature, and continue becoming independent.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
