My Project
During the COVID-19 pandemic my students were impacted tremendously while they participated in virtual learning. They were not allowed to play sports, outside, or with friends. This was devastating for they physical and emotional health. My students regressed in gross motor skills as well as cooperative skills with their peers. Through my project of moving mountains, my students will have the opportunity to grow their gross motor skills, learning cooperative skills, while being physically active. It is so important to take care of the whole child and help all children thrive. Movement is one of the most important pieces!
