Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to wiggle and move around. A sensory pathway created with the requested balance beam, sensory stickers, and decals will give them ample opportunities to practice motor skills such as balancing, jumping, twisting, pushing, crossing the midline, etc.

Sensory pathway materials will also provide students with a fun way to keep them moving no matter the weather.

These resources will not only benefit my students, but can be shared with other students in surrounding classrooms as well!

My overall goal with this project is to provide students with ways to keep them active and engaged by incorporating movement based brain breaks. The items selected will also help with behavior management and emotional de-escalation as needed.
