Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I wanted to share an exciting opportunity that could greatly benefit my students and enrich their learning experience.
With access to podcast equipment and personal headphones, my students will be able to extend their learning beyond traditional methods and dive into real-world, project-based experiences.
School today is about more than just paper and pencil—students are capable of so much more when given the right tools and opportunities.
This equipment will allow them to create podcasts where they can interview not only their peers on a wide range of topics, but also school staff and visiting community members. Through this process, students will develop essential skills such as communication, research, critical thinking, and collaboration. It's also a powerful way to build confidence and support their social-emotional growth.
I truly believe this kind of project will not only engage students more deeply but also prepare them for future academic and career success.
