My Students
I teach Reading Enrichment to a group of wonderful, curious and active students in grades K-5. The pandemic has been emotionally draining and stressful for my students. Many of them spent the entire school year online with minimal contact with friends and family.
My Project
Flexible seating will provide my students with the opportunity to collaborate with classmates or work independently. My students jump at the chance to find a quiet space to read or complete assignments.
Sometimes students just need space to take a brain break or work quietly.
Many of my students like to stand while working or enjoy the freedom to choose where they sit. Sometimes students enjoy working quietly in a corner or having room to spread out and relax while working. Flexible seating provides choice and puts student in charge of their learning.
