My Students
I currently teach 3rd-grade students in an inclusion classroom. This includes students with ADHD, speech and language disorders, autism, and Spanish Speakers. Most of my students are on free or reduced-price lunch. Even with these struggles, they come to school every day, ready to learn and always put their best foot forward! My students are very dedicated to their learning and I am always trying to find ways to add to our classroom to make learning fun and give them memorable experiences.
My Project
I will be moving from 3rd grade to 4th grade so I need new books for my students to read so they can continue their comprehension growth. I have never taught 4th before so I am in need of higher level books so the students continue to have lots of options that interest them. I also need new flexible seating since they are starting to outgrow what I have now. The students absolutely love the flexible seating options so they can wiggle and pay attention during class. This helps during all lessons so they can fidget while they learn!
