My Project
In my second grade classroom, we think of each other as a family. Many of my students are English language learners and come from low-income housing. With the use of flexible seating options in our classroom, my second grade special education students can expand their choice of freedom, comfort, and creativity. Flexible seating and the use of fidgets have been proven to not only keep students engaged, but also enhance their learning process. Help me give my little ones the ability to choose where they learn and work best, as well as make my classroom a comfortable and exciting second home.
More than half of students from low‑income households
