My Project

This is my third year as a resource special education teacher at this school. I am moving to a new (and much larger) space and need some materials to make the new classroom as functional as possible and support my students to engage in a meaningful way.

All the students I teach are have disabilities that make it difficult to learn in a traditional classroom setting.

The materials in this project such as the storage bins, rolling carts and book baggies will help me keep my learning materials organized. The magnetic light covers, fidgets and worry stones will promote a sense of calm so they can more easily stay in a state of focus. The magnetic name tags and batteries are needed to replace old ones that are damaged and depleted. All of these materials will ensure the classroom is running smoothly and the learning stays on track.
