My Students

Our elementary school sits in an inner city district and is a Title I school. One hundred percent of our school receives free breakfast and lunch.

My energetic fourth grade students come from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds, eager to learn each day.

Our school is a very friendly and supportive community that believes a child can learn and achieve with great success no matter the challenges they may face on a daily basis! It is our goal to instill a love of learning to help students achieve their lifelong goals!

My Project

My students are an active group of kids who struggle to sit still. Especially now with new safety protocols students are required to stay at their seats all day, and many of my students have difficulty maintaining focus when they feel the need to MOVE! The Hokki stools are the perfect solution!

They will help my students have the freedom to move while staying in one place.

These ergonomic stools will give everyone a comfortable, safe seat while allowing for freedom of movement. I believe that the Hokki stools are just the thing for energetic fourth graders to learn while moving and move while learning! Keeping students physically active throughout the day boosts positive attitudes, improves focus, and helps to improve behavior. Everyone in our classroom will benefit from these active seating options!
