Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Special Education students love to play outside but often struggle to find games that are safe and productive and promote teamwork. These outdoor play tools will allow students to learn how to work together and expose them to a variety of games that are not provided at my school.
Students will learn how to balance, play team sports like soccer and tossing games which will not only build their coordination but will also give them chances to work together for a common goal.
Students will be able to be active outside during recess and PE and will be engaged in a variety of outdoor play stations.
Providing this interactive play allows my students to release energy during the day and builds their confidence as they learn how to work and play with their classmates!
