My students need wobble chairs, bean bag chairs and light filters to give them alternative seating accessibility to be successful as 21st Century Learners.
I work at an incredible school with amazing little people that walk through our doors every day. Actually they often are running because they are so excited and we have to remind them to walk. They are full of a love for learning and wonder for the world.
My students bring a wide variety of backgrounds and personalities to my classroom.
They are very active with both their bodies and their minds. We are always on the move to keep them engaged and excited about learning.
My Project
This project is going to make my classroom an even better place to learn. I think it is so important to meet the kiddos where they are and where they are is moving! I have many free resources that I use to help me but I need wobble chairs and bean bag chairs to help them while they are working independently.
First graders are at an age where they are being given more freedoms and as a Responsive Classroom school, we are able to give them privileges that they have to work hard to keep.
Setting up a classroom environment with these great tools will be setting the students up for success. They will have the opportunity to explore who they are as learners and see what is best for them.
