This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

English language learners need to practice their speaking skills. What better way than through creating videos!

My students live in a high poverty neighborhood in New York.

They are hard working and dedicated to learning, but their lives just don't have as many of the advantages as those of students in more affluent areas. They are eager to express themselves and show what they have learned this year in school!

My Project

With these iPods, students will be able to create videos to display their science research, produce video book reviews, and so many other things. They will be motivated and excited to produce video content and edit it properly to create a final product that they can share.

My students need access to technology that some kids take for granted.

By using the iPods, students will see that technology is not just for fun, but can be an important educational tool!
