Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are always excited to go to physical education and with a sensory room our students will get to develop and engage their senses with lights, colors and a variety of different items around the room for them to explore. Students will also get the chance to interact with their environment and learn to self regulate their emotions, this will help them create a more positive outlook in school and be able to engage with their peers in a safely manner. With the many benefits a sensory room brings to our students and a school I think the best one is getting the students to stay engaged and focused on anything they put their minds to!
