This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth grade students are very loving, caring, and curious. They love being engaged in the classroom and truly appreciate all things donated to the classroom. In addition, these curious fourth graders love learning! My students come from very low socioeconomic backgrounds and do not always have the access to technology.

Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch.

We have the highest rate of ELL (English language learners) in the state and a high number of special education students.

My Project

My students need four rubber stools that help add to the seating of the classroom. These stools will help add seating to the small group table in the back of the classroom. The students can also use these stools at their seats when they are the V.I.P student of the day as an extra incentive. The students can also use these stools for seating at centers during literacy and math intervention. In addition, these stools will help students who constantly fidget in their seats and need a different alternative. As you can see, there are many purposes these stools will serve in the classroom.
