My Students

Every year in my school, I have the opportunity to work with amazing students. I teach twenty-six, third graders. Some days, when we call flexible group, I can have up to thirty-two students in a classroom for math. My students work hard and always try their best to be successful. My students write their own mission statements for themselves and for their classroom. This year's classroom statement was: In our 3A family, we will smile, be enthusiastic, dream big, be friendly to everyone, love one another, be respectful, never give up, #beyou #fillabuckettoday. This proves what great leaders they are.

My Project

I have many students diagnosed with ADHD this year. These students need to be active. My classroom has many options for sitting but there is not a place for them to sit with movement like these chairs will offer.

Movement matters with students!

Sitting all day in a classroom on hard chairs is really difficult. Sitting in small groups and using these chairs, will help them focus on the lesson and learn more.

I have seen how successful these chairs are in a classroom setting. I know my students would be so excited to have the opportunity to sit, move and learn.
