This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a kindergarten classroom built up of seventeen students. My students are absolutely wonderful! They are precious little souls, each different in their own way. They learn differently, think differently and all see the world just a little bit different. It's what makes each them unique.
Their young minds have a strong desire to learn and soak in everything that is being taught.
Their innocence and shape-able minds shed light to our school and give our campus sense of uniqueness.
My Project
I am requesting stability balls for my students. Some of the benefits for using these as seats are: increased attention and concentration, better posture, a greater awareness of health and wellness through movement, strengthen to core and back muscles, and an increase in balance and coordination. By simply giving these students a stability ball, we are allowing them to have more focus on their academics, as well as increase their body movement.
