it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Research shows that incorporating movement into learning environments can significantly enhance students' ability to focus, reduce restlessness, and support cognitive function. By using under-the-desk bike pedals, students can engage in low-impact exercise while remaining seated, allowing them to channel their energy in a productive way. The standing climber will provide an opportunity for students to alternate between sitting and standing, further enhancing their focus and physical well-being. Both of these items will help create an environment where students can better process information and feel more comfortable in their learning spaces.

By incorporating exercise equipment into the daily routine, we hope to improve concentration, reduce distractions, and increase overall engagement in academic tasks. Additionally, we aim to foster a sense of empowerment by giving students control over their movement while learning, which can improve their confidence and self-regulation skills.
Our students are unique in their learning needs. Many of them benefit from sensory breaks and movement to help regulate their energy levels and maintain focus. These students may struggle with traditional learning methods that require long periods of sitting still. They thrive when given opportunities to move, as it helps them process information better and stay engaged in lessons. Each of them brings a different perspective and learning style to the classroom.
