Movement Madness Dance Show

My students need dance costumes for their upcoming dance performance. They will need dance skirts, ribbons, and blank CDs for their upcoming show.

My Students

I teach at a Title I Magnet Performing Arts School. My students are lucky to get the opportunity for free dance lessons. It is hard for them to get the materials that they need due to low income families. Therefore, I end up buying a lot of the costumes they need to perform.

I teach all of the students in my school from K-5 grade.

All students receive free dance lessons once a week. It is a great opportunity to teach them dance. My students are always excited when they come to my dance room and get to move. This is an opportunity that they would not get if they were not attending my school. Also, each grade gets to perform in a show throughout the year and I would love for them to have pretty costumes to really make them feel like real dancers.

My Project

The students in my third, fourth, and fifth grade dance performing groups will be putting on their end of the year dance show. They need costumes and props for their show. I will also be using these costumes for other dance performances we have throughout the year. I want my students to feel like professional dancers even though their parents may not be able to afford the items that they need. You can help my kids have the show that they will always remember.

This project will give my students the opportunity to have fancy costumes for their show and year round performances.

My students deserve to look as good as they dance and this is your opportunity to help my kids out.
