This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to be able to offer my students flexible seating in my science classroom. This year many of my students have large amounts of energy and needed to constantly move during the learning block. Flexible seating will allow them to move without being a distraction to others.
Being able to offer my students different seating options will allow me to have a more adaptable classroom.
Students would be able to work away from distractions and focus on understanding of lessons objectives and complete classroom assignments. I want more wobble stools and more ball chairs. I have seen improvement in student behavior when they are able to use flexible seating.
