My Project

So many kids come to school dysregulated due to lack of basic needs such as food and adequate clothing, etc.

By having a portable elliptical trainer and watercolor markers to use, they can get themselves calmed down and ready to learn in 10 min.

In our health center, kids can come to my office when they need help self-regulating. Using the portable elliptical trainer and moving large muscles helps the body physically calm down.

The watercolor markers provide a quick mindfulness activity to help them calm their brains and get ready to learn.
