it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom I like for my students to feel comfortable and confident while learning. I allow them to change their seats, sit on stools, the carpet, wobble seats, bean bags and anything or anywhere else that helps them stay focused and ready to learn. Allowing this flexibility in my self contained classroom has had a positive affect on the students and their ability to retain information as well as participate in the lesson.
Having flexible seating has been a game changer for me and my students!
To add to the menu of options my students have brainstormed different flexible seating ideas that they would want to see in our classroom and we agreed that while our stools are awesome and have been so helpful, having stools with wheels would be "a game changer" (their words). The students feel that they would be able to move from space to space to observe, learn, and participate in engaging class conversations. Please consider supporting our flexible and inclusive classroom, any donation helps and is greatly appreciated!
