Help me give my students outdoor equipment and games for the movement and motivation they need! My goal is to keep our young learners from becoming sluggish and uninterested in school.
We all know young children have a lot of energy! It is a challenge to keep them seated all day and they really should not be restricted to their desk and chair. My program will help get them up and moving! Regular exercise increases brain activity to continue on with the academics of the school day.
We all must move to improve!
The items I have requested will increase movement and prepare students to continue their learning throughout the day. My class will also reinforce math, science, and vocabulary skills through the use of the movement and numbered dice.
With the materials I have requested, my students will also learn important skills such as balance, tossing, and catching. We will learn and compare tossing and catching with a variety of balls such as snowballs, tennis balls and more. We will use the cones to highlight teams colors and learn to create good sportsmanship and a positive classroom culture.
