My Project
I am Ms. Jasmine Tamayo, teaching in Self-Contained Class (Primary SLD), Most of my students are struggling with hyperactivity and attention. They have wriggly legs, constantly fidgeting, having, anxiety, being unable to concentrate on tasks and excessive physical movement. The Wiggle Feet & Seat Sensory Cushion, Chew Necklace, Weighted Lap Pad, Anxiety Sensory Stickers and Toys will help my students get sensory input as they sit, because the slightest movement causes a great shift in balance. Partitions Privacy are helpful to my students with attention issues. Limiting the amount of visual stimulation that can distract them is key, and these partitions do the trick. My kids also love to draw and write to keep themselves busy during small groups and the writing tablets will be helpful in our classroom to save papers.
My goal in this project is to support the needs of my students that can impact their ability to learn and feel successful in the classroom.
