Kids need to move everyday. I teach elementary physical education in a school located in a high poverty area.
Our school does not have a gym so we have to be creative about how and where we move. I have found that the best way to get my kids moving is through music. Even if it is just playing in the background and not the focus of our games or activities - it still keeps the kids up and going!
I want to be able to take our music outside with us - or wherever we go to have class. I have an iPod full of music that my students love and just need a portable way to make it happen. A portable dock for an iPod will allow me to take our music anywhere and everywhere we have class allowing me to provide a wider variety of activities for my students to be active in.
