Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of our students were not able to get out to try a variety of movement experiences during covid so they are lacking in strength, coordination, and body awareness. Indoor obstacle courses help them to increase these by allowing them to explore movement no matter the weather. Studies show that movement improves the ability to concentrate and learn. The students will be able to concentrate better and increase their learning through movement while indoors. These pieces will be used in classrooms during play time to increase students physical and mental agility.
