My Project
The supplies I’m requesting will help my students engage more deeply in dance by enhancing organization, creativity, and performance preparation. We incorporate written reflections, choreography planning, and hands-on activities, so having baskets for journals will help keep materials organized. The LED and string lights will create a visually engaging environment that promotes creativity and focus, helping students feel inspired while also preparing them for performing under stage lighting.
My goal is to provide students with the tools they need to express themselves, think critically, and build confidence in dance.
By integrating writing, visual learning, and movement-based exploration, I aim to create an engaging and structured environment that fosters discipline, creativity, and collaboration. The lights will enhance the ambiance, making the space feel immersive and exciting, while the baskets will ensure students stay organized and focused. The chart paper and other supplies will help students develop responsibility and prepare for performance experiences, supporting both individual and group progress.
My students are passionate, creative, and eager to express themselves. Many are experiencing structured dance training for the first time and bring unique energy and perspectives to the classroom. They are not only learning technique but also discovering how dance connects to culture, history, and self-expression. By fostering a stimulating, organized, and inspiring space, I hope to keep them engaged and motivated. Their resilience and enthusiasm make them truly special, and I want to provide everything they need to thrive in dance and beyond.
