My kids are growing up in a small town in Utah. There are around 160 kids in our school. The population of their town is about 1,000 people. You could say my kids are growing up in a close knit community.
I teach two ages of kids.
My 3rd graders are 8 to 9 years old and my 4th graders are 9 to 10. The students in my class are amazing and inspire me everyday. They are hardworking, respectful kids. I love my students and want to do everything I can do to help them succeed in their academics and life.
My Project
Movable Flexible seating will allow my students to choose where they learn best and allow me to social distance easily when needed. Through the past couple years teaching has definitely had its challenges. One of the greatest would be getting students back into classrooms and doing their best learning. Right now I have a flexible seating classroom, but I would like to be able to give my students more options.
Flexible seating gives my students the opportunity to learn in the position that they learn best.
Sometimes my students struggle to pay attention but maybe they just don't have the right work space for their kind of learning. I want to be able to provide the best learning space for each of my students based on their needs.
