Help me give my students mouse trap car kits, to have the tools needed to build mouse trap cars as part of our end of the year project. They will be optimizing speed builds.

My Project
Students will use what they have learned all year to build a mouse trap car that they will race in multiple heats against their classmates. Between each heat, the student will use the engineering cycle of evaluation and adjustments to improve their performance. The final top 5 finishers will compete in front of the school at the end of the year Pep Rally.
Students will use the concepts of mechanical advantage to transfer energy stored in their mouse traps to the axles and wheels of their cars.
I have included a lot of basic parts and tools as well as some commercial car kits that I will separate into parts and added to my general maker space supplies. Students will be evaluated on creativity, innovation, and their race time adjustments.
Students will make tactile and concrete connections between what they have learned and how it can be used.
