Help me give my students instruments that work, they are able to play on, and bring home to practice.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Rathbone's classroom raised $600

My Students
All of these students are eager to learn how to play band instruments. There are beginners in each grade level as well as students who have played for 1, 2, or 3 years. All the students want to learn how to read music and play something challenging.
The students come from the north western part of the Charlotte Metropolitan area, making up a diverse group of students all from various backgrounds.
All of the students come band excited and ready to play their instruments. Often they want to learn more than one instrument or different types of the instrument they start on.
Many of these students want to play a certain instrument, but can't do to the limited supply the school has. The program is still very new and growing, so we are still trying to get some instruments and supplies.
My Project
Students will have their own instruments to be able to play on in class. They won't have to share anything and be able to focus on learning rather than "what is my instrument"? The accessories for the instruments allow the instruments we already have to continue to function as well as continue learning for students who can't afford to get these accessories.
With these instruments, students can take them home to practice and get better at their instrument.
This can increase their ability and allow them to learn more in the year as well as play music with enjoyment rather than struggling with instruments that don't work.
