Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These tools will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them opportunities to develop the skills necessary for academic readiness and mastery of their environment.
Motor Planning is defined as the problem solving and moving over, under, and around that requires fine motor and gross motor skills and planning to plan out, organize, and carry out an action.
That is what we do during Motor Lab in our classroom.
With these tools, my students will be able to organize incoming information, including sensory input, and integrate that information into their plan. The balls and hoops will be used in various activities that will provide my students with experiences and opportunities to develop their sensory and motor systems to their fullest.
My students are special because they love school and are always eager to learn something new. I just love watching their eyes light up when they accomplish something they thought they could never do.
