Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I charter school serving a community just outside Los Angeles. Our school focuses on leadership, service learning, and social-emotional growth. My fourth grade class includes a diverse group of students, with a wide range of interests and abilities. They are inspired to make a difference in their community, and do so through service learning projects throughout the school year.

Due to economic need, most of my students receive free or reduced price lunch.

They are special in many ways, especially in their love of learning! They love art, drawing, coloring, and painting. They also love journaling and dancing. My students are very sweet and we are learning to recognize and celebrate our unique strengths and talents.

My Project

These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by motivating them to do their best. This year, it is important to let students know that they are doing an amazing job in school, and what better way than with fun classroom prizes!

Classroom incentives will keep my students motivated to do their best!

My students come to school every day ready to learn and they are the most hard working students I've ever taught. I want to recognize their hard work by rewarding them with fun classroom prizes throughout the school year.
