This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have had past experiences with math that have left them turned off with the subject. I am looking for incentives to help spark their motivation. These prizes will snag their interest as they work toward their goals of math achievement.
Helping students begin to learn that math is fun is a perfect way to build better mathematicians!
As they build momentum through intriguing mathematical challenges, these prizes will incentivize them to continue to achieve. My hope is that this will give my students the confidence boost they need to move toward their goals and dreams for the future.
