My Students
My amazing students are incredible, inquisitive, and mostly from low-income families that have never had a ‘normal’ school year. They deserve more than they have received due to Covid-19 interrupting their education and family life. They are truly amazing students.
My Project
The students in my classroom have been impacted by Covid-19 in so many ways. They have lost so much in the way of education, but some have also lost family members. I want to make their experience in my classroom one that is a safe haven where they can be happy and learn to their full potential.
The technology I have requested will greatly enhance their learning experience.
Currently, only a few of my students have headphones. This makes it hard to concentrate in the classroom because it is so loud. They turn the volume up, trying to hear over the other student's computers.
I have also requested mice for the computers so the students can navigate their computers more efficiently. Our chrome books have a touchpad, and these students are just learning to use them. They are very sensitive, and the students struggle to work with them.
All of our students deserve the very best, and I try every day to give them the safety and motivation to achieve to their potential. They are the best!
