Help me give my students the opportunity to develop their microscope skills and ignite their interest in microbiology, gaining a passion for learning more about life and themselves!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Kali's classroom raised $966

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students' eyes light up when they are able to focus on a slide and see a whole new world under the microscope. My students deserve access to high-quality microscopes, just like their peers in more traditional high schools. Without microscopes, it is difficult for students to look deeper, to see what lies beneath and what ties us together. These microscopes can be used in each of our science classes to help dive deeper into the evidence, while also providing students with hands-on experiences practicing microscopy skills. Students from each of the offered science courses can use the microscopes, viewing, for example, plankton in marine biology and earth science, and cells from the different kingdoms of life in biology.
Few of my students have had the opportunity to work with microscopes.
Having at least a couple of microscopes available in the classroom every day will invite students to learn a new skill, identify new evidence, and motivate learning. Help my students look deeper!
