I am teaching a group of very energetic and eager 2nd graders. Our school is in a high-need community. Over 75% of our students have free lunches.
As a teacher, there is always a strive to motivate and excite students to learn. Our white board (write & wipe board)activities accomplish that goal. The class is energized and eager when the white boards come out. Actually, even a mention of the boards gets the students excited to learn! We currently have write & wipe boards (white boards) which we use for various Word Works and Math lessons. We are currently using old write & wipe markers and paper towels (cut into 4)to accomplish our activities. Any day now our markers will run out of ink and paper towels will become scarce.
So we need your help! We need these resources to keep the excitement and motivation of these 2nd graders going. We can continue to do our activities for this year without the fear that the markers and paper towels will literally run out. These supplies will keep our classroom interesting and exciting!
