Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often times, we focus on student's who display negative behaviors, while the student who are making progress goes unnoticed. Motivating students with incentives and opportunities enable them to be better scholars at school. We have the PBIS program at Riverview Middle School, and we reward students with points that they can use to shop in our PBIS stores. As teachers, we spend our own money to reward students for their points. It would be great to receive donations towards my PBIS store.

Student's efforts and accomplishments in school should be rewarded.

Positivity motivates learners. The items I am requesting for my students will enhance strategies that are in place at my school that encourage students to attend school daily, display positive behavior and interactions, and strive to reach their highest academic potential each day they are at school.
