Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students want to stay home and play video games, so I need to motivate them with something similar.

I am the library media and technology teacher at a inner-city, high-poverty k-8 school.

Most of my students are reluctant readers in need of motivation and excitement about learning. My students have very little technology at home as well as very little at home learning opportunities.

My Project

This resource would transform my library into an exciting, motivating, learning place. I have the students working in learning stations, so even though I will only have one iPad, I plan to write more grants and add to it. There are so many free reading games and my students will be so excited to play and learn.

Your donation will make a difference in my students' lives and I will let all my 750 students use the resource, so your donation will go even further.

My students will be able to read ebooks and experience books that we cannot afford to have in print, but that the district provides.
