This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a middle school teacher who teaches physical education, I believe providing snacks to reinforce positive behavior can make a significant difference in their learning and participation.
This approach serves multiple purposes: it motivates students to maintain focus during challenging lessons, provides an energy boost to keep them alert and attentive, and creates positive associations with academic achievements.
Sharing snacks can foster a sense of community in the classroom, promoting collaboration and peer support.
My goals in implementing this snack-based reward system are to increase student engagement in physical activities, improve behavior and focus during difficult lessons, reinforce key fitness concepts through practical application, create a positive and supportive classroom environment, and ultimately boost overall physical performance in PE.
