This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have started a school wide running club. The students are encouraged to run 1/3 of a mile 2x a week.
We know that exercising regularly helps our bodies and minds stay healthy.
These prizes are to help us get the club started and encourage all to participate. We want our students to be active outside the class to help get them ready to sit and learn.
All classes are encouraged to participate and earn prizes for their class by running the suggested laps as well as running more if able.
