Motivate My Curious Chemists

My students need 25 calculators and a scientific video to help them understand the scientific method.

This project is fully funded

Using technology in my classroom motivates and keeps my students connected to the real-world. I teach 10th grade chemistry in a low-income, urban setting. My students are interested in science and love to be engaged.

Due to the many obstacles my students face, they have not experienced interesting chemistry videos and lack the necessary tools to succeed in chemistry class.

With the addition of the Mythbusters video my students will be able to see students of their own age create cool science projects. Also, with the use of calculators my students will be able to do more complex calculations like atomic mass, protons, neutrons, electrons, and moles.

Your support of this project will help bring more inspiration and motivation for my young chemists. Please help bring these tools to our classroom and expand my students' interests and knowledge.
