Motion with Music !
I am an elementary school(K-5) Physical education teacher. My school is located in a high poverty area in Georgia.
My students face the obstacle of escalating childhood obesity. For most children, the P.E. class is the only form of exercise they engage in. Video games and TV rob our children of precious opportunities to be active.
My students need a powerful boom box that can be heard above the din that they can make when excited. They would be exposed to a genre of music for dance, jump rope, and aerobic activities. All children love moving to music.
Your help would ensure that my students find enjoyment in the fight against childhood obesity.
