This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are all eager to learn! One thing that is missing from most curriculums is the STEM part where kids work as a team to build, create, and grow their brains using hands on activities.

Help give my students STEM projects that they can work on every morning to build their real world knowledge and learn to work as a team!

My students come in at 7:10 and eat breakfast. When they are finished eating, or if they eat at home, I decided to make that time for STEM and team building. In order to do that, I need some fun hands on activities the kids can use! Funding this project will excite the kids to get to school in the mornings and work on projects where they need to really think outside the box to make creations! Examples would be: using magnetic tiles to create something unique that comes to their mind, microscope to explore insects and think about what it could be, connecting cubes to also build more unique projects, and shape puzzles make different polygons and abstract shapes! We are so excited to add STEM into our mornings!
