Morning Meeting Wouldn't Be Complete without a Seat!

My students need a carpet for our meeting area! We spend a lot of time on the carpet for Morning Meeting and other instruction and ours has been damaged and unable to use.

My Students

My students are full of energy and love to make me laugh every day! Whatever I was worrying about or stressed about all fades away as soon as I see their faces in the morning. I teach in a Title I public school. My school is often described as being an extended family for our students and our community as it is full of passionate, loving, happy, caring students.

Students often describe the school and teachers here as caring and fun!

My Project

Kindergarten is a challenging, exhilarating, and amazing time for children! They grow in so many ways! My students have been without a carpet for our whole group area, making it hard to maximize instruction as they do not have a place of their own to sit and focus.

Meeting carpets ensure every child has their own space and establishes routines and a sense of community that children need in order to grow!

They also help children focus on the content given to them and it helps them know that they all have a space to sit and enjoy our classroom with the emphasis being on our classroom not just the teachers classroom.
