My students need stuffed Bobcats, tennis balls, and foam balls to enhance our morning meetings.

My Students
Morning meetings are critical in building a community within the classroom.
Our school is a low-income school where about 90% of our students are on the free or reduced lunch program.
My students are eager to learn despite the hard circumstances they face in their everyday lives. Our school provides a loving, safe and consistent place for them to learn with a focus on relationships.
My Project
Morning meetings and community circles are embedded into our daily routine. All teachers have received books to learn how to create more meaningful lessons within their daily meetings. Supplies are needed to help with some lessons. Our school mascot is the bobcat. We would like each classroom to have a stuffed bobcat to use during morning meetings.
Having meaningful lessons during morning meetings will enable students to have a stronger community within the classroom.
The foam balls, tennis balls, and stuffed bobcats are just a few items needed to fully implement the lessons.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
