Morning Bins and Cactus Books

My Students

Our school is located on the edge of the Salt Lake Valley. I teach first grade to a total of 22 first graders. We have an amazing community surrounding us, along with beautiful mountains and hills.

I have an amazing group of 1st graders!

They love to learn, and they are willing to go out of their comfort zones to succeed each and every day. These students have a variety of personalities, learning styles, and strengths. It is our goal to help each student accomplish goals and gain confidence throughout the school year.

My Project

These materials are going to help my students both inside the classroom and outside the classroom. The first part of the resources is dedicated to our Cactus Classroom. There are many life lessons that can come the example of a cactus such as resilience, loving yourself, and hard work. These books will be great ways to show my students a connection from our class to their own lives.

Students will start the day with morning bins!

These morning bins will have different activities from STEM toys to creating art. Each bin will have something to help students think outside the box, and the materials from this project are going to be part of this morning bin start.

All of the resources will be cared for and loved by my students.
