My Project

I am a reading specialist at a K-8 school in AZ. I work with students who have struggled to become fluent readers and need some extra support and small group attention to build their reading skills and become fluent readers.

Having different hands-on materials, a wide variety of books and flexible seating options will help my students find new ways to improve their reading skills and develop a love for reading.

Due to COVID-19, many of my students spent time at home learning and need extra practice with reading with confidence and finding books that interest them. Getting new reading materials will provide my students with the opportunity to read and explore different kinds of books.
