My Students
My students are absolutely wonderful! In every grade level, I have so many hard working and brave kids. They make teaching music so much fun! I know I can try just about anything with these kids! We've been working on projects all year long and they're always willing to work on another crazy idea that I have. They all have such a patience for each other that I wish I had when I was a kid!
I have so many students that need more of a challenge.
They build on all of their skills so beautifully and I can't wait to teach them something new! They absolutely soar through our concepts and activities. I can't wait to show them a whole new set of skills!
My Project
These ukuleles will be used every day in our music classroom as 2nd grade and 5th grade students will be playing them! Currently, we do not have enough ukuleles for each student to use, so we have partners. Though having partners is nice, it does take a huge chunk of our time away from actually playing!
I can't wait to teach the kids one of the most fun instruments to play!
Because ukulele is so easy to learn, they'll be able to show off their knowledge at home and play for family and friends very soon! It's so important to me that musical skills are taught as early as possible. Playing an instrument is so much fun, and is SO rewarding!
